Pre orders down more than 50% compared to Final Shape.
Nobody likes the new tier system.
Nobody likes the portal system.
Barely any new content or activities shown.
You guys better get your -blam!- together and fix this crap or your studio is done. There’s no way the investors will allow another year of content to be produced for this game if the numbers stay like this.

The most logical thing is to wait AFTER the dlc have released.THEN people can start crying. But people cry before anyone know anything, stop believe what the streamers say, they say anything to make content.

Initially I was against the idea of Destiny 3, but I have to agree. The consensus around the player base is as follows; - refuse to grind new gear, especially if it has to be done every season - refuse to regrind for my exotic armor pieces with stats I need. - Bungie admitting they are waiting for the “toxic” builds that will be abused with the increase 6% damage in PvP before making adjusting them prior to release. - The neglect of PVP and Gambit ( For my gambit players out there) - Destiny 3 would have been a good time to leave this engine, and even a better time to make the game exclusive for modern gaming consoles. - Pete Parsons needs to resign. I think that sums it up, but let me know if I missed anything.
-
Alexander Seropian - 2000 - Saved Bungie; Then Quietly left. Jamie Greismer - 2010 - Left the company. Marcus Lehto - 2012 - Left the company. Joseph Staten - 2013 - Left the company. Marty O Donnell - 2014 - Fired. Harold Ryan - 2016 - Left the company. Michael Salvatori - 2023 - Left the company. Loraine McLees - 2023 - Left the company. The creative heart and soul of Bungie has been bleeding out for 2 decades. The company that made the iconic game, Halo, are no more. What you have now are a bunch of people who appear to be both creatively and morally bankrupt. Puppets to their tyrannical overlords, who steal other people's content and pass it off as their own. A company that has been caught throttling XP to slow progression, and mass deleting content that thousands of players paid for. They care not for their consumers and are going to milk this gravy train until it is no longer profitable. Enjoy The Ride!

Nobody likes? Nobody’s played it yet! Honestly, the amount of people who think they speak for everyone is baffling. I’ll wait till I’ve played the game before I passing judgement. I do wonder if this was Destiny 3, whether there would be so much bitterness or more people would just accept it as a fresh start.

This is the end of the end
-
you’ve never completed a raid or a dungeon and i’m supposed to be taking ur opinion seriously? lol
-
We’ve literally said that the last 3 DLCs and guess what, bungie is still kicking somehow 🤷 someone is giving them money to make subpar content
-
Destiny 3 would've saved the studio, Activision would've saved the studio.

Make it make sense, you mentioned investors & destiny in the same breath, not me.
There’s no way the investors will allow another year of content
Investors live a bubble with other investors, they mix with each other & no one else, they follow investor charts from black rock, they don't know who or what they invest in, just that the projections point to profit short term. This is why Sony can get away with saying things like marathon had great social numbers, because the investors have zero clue the interactions were 99% negative & the delay was only announced a few days after the Sony earnings thing. A small pool of investors run the world, the ones who take time to know things like destiny or social media feedback don't matter. Destiny & bungie could explode or disappear & it wouldn't make any difference to anyone that high up.

Sorry but the "beginning" was a couple years ago.
-
"The Beginning of the End?" No, no, no, this ship has been sinking for a while now. They managed to plug a few holes with The Final Shape, but they ripped them out and drilled some more. They are ruining themselves and they clearly have no intention of changing. Once their ship finally goes under, they will have nobody but themselves to blame for it.

Borderlands 4 is going to take a chunk of players that may or may not be back come Renegades, Destinys cosmetic Star Wars make-over (aka cash grab) The Teir system is most likely going to make the game feel unfair, playing with higher teir players, as the rewards as not the same. LfG will probably go back to toxic as an unattended side effect (remember forever 29?) I don't think what they have shown will keep players long, but you never know. Once you put destiny down, its hard to pick back up again. I haven't ventured into Destiny end game activities for a long time, and I've been treading water, looking to see how the light and dark saga ends. Now that I have some sort of closure on that I'm heading back to Warframe for Isleweaver, and single player offline affairs like Cyberpunk and Spiderman miles morales and god of war ragnarock. might even do a play though of Horizon ZD with all the dlc
-
The only people left …the addicts will just keep rolling for another ten years . Bungie knows exactly what it’s doing …or more Sony does as well . A lot of the long running players will accept anything now to keep their own addiction going .

It’s been going down hill for them for years now. Final Shape should have ended D2 for good and take that hype of the game to build q D3 with Edge of Fate storyline and more to have a good base for another saga and maybe you’ll have more than 50% pre orders than Final Shape. The changes do seem to shake the whole sandbox but for how long until people realize that this is just another cash grab for them. Marathon should have never happened in the first place. But no, corporate greed and management killed their money making game. I’m glad I haven’t spent the $100 for the DLC.

As much as I like the gunplay/abilities in destiny. I canceled my preorder and am getting something else. I think after 10+ years, there's nothing it has to offer me. I dont feel that enjoyment. Luckily, im the type of gamer that plays multiple games and dont have to worry about just 1. There's so many good games coming, im not even thinking of Destiny, lol. When I called Sony to cancel, they went on about why did I cancel, it looks like this is the first time you're canceling a dlc in general, let alone destiny since you bought the rest. I simply just said their greed has gotten in their way, and the changes might be cool for some, but not for me, so I spoke with my wallet. Anyways, there's no point in making posts here or trying to win anyone over. Just let destiny die by not paying for any dlcs and move on.

The beginning? Partner this is the tail end of the end. Did you happen to catch a bit of the last stream? I say a bit cause most normal humans have a limit as to how much of it they can watch. Then go take a look at that TWAB and tell me what kind of paid numbers you expect for another round of much less of the same.
-
If Bungie had a nickel for every time someone said this.... Oh, wait. They do. At LEAST! LoL😁
-
Can't wait to see you in Edge of fate.
-
tjere is no “may be” it is the end
-
It might be. But this is definitely the 36656461761416th iteration of this post over the last 7 years, so don't mind me if I take it with a mountain of salt.

Edited by FENIX: 7/2/2025 9:15:53 PMYou and your neighbour isn't everyone. You gotta realize most of the gamers never even come to social media and forums, so you don't know what everybody thinks. Nice acc though.
