I really don’t feel any excitement for this Expansion like I did for the past 3… & I think it’s CRAZY to still charge 100$ for expansions that has WAY LESS CONTENT. & still charge for old content. You wonder why this game is so dead.

Edited by xbroggiex: 7/2/2025 10:56:54 PMI think that Bungie kind of doing 2 expansions within a year has kind of made it a bit confusing. You pay that $100 or w/e for the year of prophecy or the ultimate edition its not just Edge of Fate its also Renegades. But they are marketing these expansions individually when most people are probably going to buy the bundle. I don't see why they didn't just go with it being Edge of Fate Part 1 and Part 2 and then you pay $60 for the expansion that is released in 2 parts. If I tally up what we get with buying the year of prophecy its something like this... 2 New Destinations (Kepler + Mars?) 2 New Campaigns (Edge of Fate + Renegades) 1 New Raid (Edge of Fate) 1 New Dungeon (Renegades) 1 New Destination Activity (Kepler) - Dunno if renegades will have one but probably 1 New "Gamemode" Lawless Frontier (Renegades) 6 new exotic armor (3 EoF + 3 Renegades) - Unsure if major updates will have any but they might do. 4 new exotic weapons (2 EoF + 2 Renegades) - If you add the major update ones then that would be another 6? Making a total of 10 new exotic weapons over the year, 11 if you throw in New Land Beyond. Its quite a bit when looked at as a whole package, but I suppose its more sustainable for Bungie to produce that over time rather than trying to drop it in bulk.
