I've played destiny since the beginning and I've always wanted Star Wars to cross over, so imagine my excitement at the renegades trailer, but that's going to have a season pass that's probably $20-$25, oh wait there's more, the "season" probably attached to the new DLC campaign, so that's another $25-$40, oh wait there's more, I have all three classes and enjoy them equally, so how am I going to pick between three Imperial armors that are $20 EACH, oh you want the tie fighter and speeder? That's another $20, oh you want Kylo Ren's ship with an awesome speeder and imperial droid? That's another $20, you want to lightsaber fight your friends or the other emotes? Another $20, and now they plan on releasing General Grievous, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren skins, all $20 each. I just can't do it anymore, you have to reduce your prices if you want to succeed, because most of the posts I'm reading is about the death of this game and your company, star wars can breathe some life into this franchise but not if it's too expensive and honestly the occasional sale won't cut it either, your company has the worst reputation for squeezing the money from your customers, your 2000 silver pack should be $5, period...

Star Wars is dead. Disney ruined it. Peaked at Return of the Jedi... A long time ago...

It's bad that it's so expensive, but honestly, -blam!- it. These crossover events and cosmetics just water the game down, and make it less immersive. Seeing Darth Vader running around with two auto rifles in pvp, or that -blam!- storm trooper furiously teabagging and shooting at you so they can show off their star wars emote when you look at them... Gross. Genuinely just gross. Let Bungie suck those people dry, as they're going to be the only ones left paying for the game and excited for the slop that Bungie puts out nowadays.

No one has a gun to your head to buy the fashion items.

$40 for the DLC. That includes everything. Cosmetics that are Star Wars will cost you like any other game.

It will include the season pass and the seasonal content outside of the rewards pass is free. All those skins you mentioned are already in the game. The cosmetic prices are comparable to other games.

lol…will you be paying cash or credit Mr. whale? -bungie

Some skins won’t breathe life into this game. Cosmetics don’t fix anything.

sounds like a bargin.

Trying to squeeze as much as they can to funnel it to marathon

But so mindlessly blow their cash on this kind of stuff. I mean to be darth would be cool but now there’s loads of them in game and it’s lost its buzz . Just a huge amount of people who just enable these companies to do this kind of bs 🤷🏼♂️🙄😂

It's cheaper to pay for Disney plus and watch Star Wars at this point... 😂!
-
the star wars license probably cost them about 70 morbillion dollars

I got a couple cheeseburgers delivered and that cost me as much as the expansion. So as long as the expansions lasts longer than those two cheeseburgers did, I’ll call it a win. It could be a close competition tho.

i think you've hit on an important point about the nature of consumerism.
all the cool stuff is really, really ... expensive, geez i'd love a Ferrari California for $5
