Ever since the launch of Revenant, Destiny 2 has taken a drastically longer time to load up anything on the PS4. By comparison, when I switch to Playstation 5 I have virtually no such issues, which prompted me to move much of my playtime from the PS4 to the PS5.
On my Playstation 4, I still use a disc for playing the game and I even have a LAN connection, but I don't know what would be the reason why loading times suddenly became much slower.
It has even affected my gameplay. When running Dungeons and Raids, it takes me much longer to load in than everyone else, and in the Crucible, I sometimes enter into a game with a black screen, and it isn't until I die that the issue clears up.
I've tried a number of things, save downloading a digital version of Destiny 2 for the PS4, to try and alleviate the loading times but nothing has worked so far.
With the Edge of Fate coming up, I would like to be able to play the expansion on both my PS4 and PS5 without the PS4 suffering from measurably longer loading times and potential lag.

All three of the PS4s in our house have had this happen suddenly. Upwards of 10 minutes to load to the character selection screen. It's ridiculous.
