All they needed to do was add the scorch line to the beam, making it a special reload was dumb af. Typical bungie breaking crap they dont need to.

1 ReplyRequiring a Firesprite to get the beam was clearly a targeted PvP nerf that they tried to hide as a PvE "gameplay loop" feature (that incidentally killed the gun for any DPS purposes it once had). But it failed. We noticed.
