So im at 70+ plus clears, for the week of July 1-8 2025. still no exotic. Can't find any recent or relevant news on it. And all the articles I find are months old. And there was a know issue of the exotic not dropping months ago. Is this still the issue, I've literally spent 30+ hours within the last 3 days and nothing. Just curious why it's a featured dungeon if the exotic isn't dropping. And if there is a bug when do we expect to see a fix. Has anyone, that has been farming received the icebreaker this week when they farm.

It isn’t a bug it’s a concept called probability. You could THEORETICALLY do vespers 1000 times and still not get it. Is that LIKELY to happen? Absurdly absurdly absurdly unlikely, but it is POSSIBLE. Just like when throwing a dice, you cannot GUARANTEE a certain result. So 70 clears isn’t that surprising. It is unlucky, but I’ve seen far worse. And bungie can’t really do much about it, they aren’t really at fault here, as much as you will probably hate hearing that. Also not sure if you were doing more than one clear per character per week PRIOR to heresy act 2? Because only the first clear per character per week could have gotten you icebreaker before then.

You can at the very least do the collectable triumph to boost your drop rates. Just watch a YouTube video

2 RepliesPretty sure it's still not farmable for IB. Just ran a few farms, teammate switched classes and got it on their first clear for that character this week. Xur is selling the Choir of One though, love seeing exotics only gained by specific missions being sold for cheap currency instead of grinding the mission.

have you done any of the increased drop chance triumphs, i got it within like 3 runs once i had done five or six of them

Still an issue and bungie haven't acknowledged it... so either they have a fix ready to go with the dlc, or things will change and it's unnecessary. The only difference when it's the featured dungeon is that master version is available. The legendary gear is farmable even when it's not featured.
