This doesn't make any sense to me how they can alienate all the loyal players and sneakingly slip D3 which is basically disguised as Destiny 2 edge of fate on us of course that's why they charge us a hundred bucks. They think we're going to get hyped up for new armor that's going to raise our abilities no it just forces veterans to have to grind and we don't want to anymore. Edge of faith is D3 guys as D2 expansion. I guess they were scared no one would leave D2 and move to D3 so they just decide to force us out anyways it's all good I need to focus on adulting.

Considering that the last release (TFS) was significantly down on the one before it (Lightfall), and that contributed to the inability to meet financial projections (which caused job losses) it’s kinda concerning. -
As someone who has pre ordered every single dlc for this game, I can confidently say this is the first dlc I will not be pre ordering.

"How can there be a Destiny 3? We're still in the middle of making it?" "That's true sir. But there's been a new breakthrough in video game development." "There has?" "Yes. Post Launch Patches. They're out online before the game is finished." "Nah."

You’re better off going FTP so you don’t have anything to complain about. Most of players here complain every DLC and put up threads like this one. Then show every year repeating the same things. They can all go FTP or play something else. Guys I know are looking forward to the changes. Maybe this is a culling of the perpetually upset.

This post reminds me of Lethal Viper back in the day lol

Where do you get that number?

If that's accurate then they'll be reassigned before 2026.

I think they're building D3 in real time with us paying to play early. In 2-3 years the portal will be bigger & D2 will be cut away. It's clear as day, they already call base D2 legacy & Kepler isn't going on the director. Portal will be the new games homepage & there will be 2-3 years of locations & activities. Gotta say it's a very clever way of doing it, saves taking a 3 year gap with no income & saves addicts moving on & never returning.

This isn’t D3. It’s D2: Going Green - Rinsed, Reused, and Recycled. These “D3” comparisons must be clever marketing or the only way the community can make sense of Bungie’s actions.

It just seems like a good time for people to go FTP and check things out. The sales after launch will be the more important number. My guess is that a lot of people will realize that the weapon and armor changes aren’t as bad as they thought, and then buy. Maybe not though. I’m waiting to see the raid before I buy anything.

We have no way to know if 50% less is a bad thing. EoF was not designed to be as big as TFS, and they have been shifting their economical model.
