Have you ever completed a Master Nightfall or Exotic mission? And more context to what is coming in EoF.

Maybe you haven't... how do other games address mid-game access? From Software... In Elden Ring for the first time really, they implemented an attrition mechanic in progression by leveling up over time... If you keep playing you'll keep getting stronger... If you play long enough, anyone can beat or come close to beating what was once billed as the most brutal experience in gaming... But it never really was... there's certainly skill gap and knowledge gap, but there's also cheese and basically debugg kits that are invincible or nuke bosses. That still exists in Elden Ring, btw + Attrition... if you saw Asmongold's kit you know I'm not lying. How about a mid-tier game Diablo 3... they have an attrition system for player progression in their World Tiers that's decent, D4 is mediocre. How about Borderlands? Here we go... That IS PROGRESION for 99% of players... Leveling to 72 as fast as possible with the campaign and seasonal events, now toggle'able btw. BadA** ranks. Playing the campaign, working through a less structured (than Diablo) world Tier system. To the Endgame. That's what we're getting in the EoF. Power matters now... And you'll be able to get stronger to get what will be almost the best loot in the game. Tier 4 from the campaign at Tier 4 confirmed to unlock after any 1 completion... Normal or Legendary gains access to Mythic. You'll need to complete a capstone as they indicated, but you'll have, within days!... ACCESS to Tier 4 Gear, Armor and Weapons from playing and grinding the new non-linear campaign experience. You might not want to do that... maybe you level? This is what people are fundamentally missing...Power matters in a World Tier or games with Attrition progression systems and mechanics. Like Elden Ring...like Diablo, like Borderlands. Coming in the EoF. Normal -> Legend -> Fabled -> Mythic. You'll get stronger... Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate Developer Insights | Taking Control It looks like the taper for the curve in escalating difficulty, doesn't happen until AFTER Mythic. This means, if you level... most players will get Tier 4 loot. If a Master NF or Exotic Mission is too hard for you... you'll be able to level and get stronger and meet those challenges over time. 😇👍💠 100% how it works until you make it to the final tiers post Mythic and Tier 5 loot.

 • I want to point out, that all I'm doing is pointing out the facts. Explicitly explained in Dev Insight vid I linked. The TLDR: 1. Awesome story, foreboding but cool... 2. Mythic is accessible after you play the campaign ONCE at EITHER normal or legendary. 3. Tier 4 gear and an alternate secret set bonus for campaign content at Mythic. 2+3 = that most players within a few days will have access to Tier 4 gear 4. The equivalent difficulty for Mythic Tier campaign content is a Master Nightfall or an Exotic Mission... Zero Hour... pick the hardest one Vex Calibur... that's not bad for Tier 4 loot. It just isn't... and we'll be more powerful, you can level to the challenge over time should you not want to go Legendary to Mythic. 😇👍💠
