You’re kidding nobody Bungie, Elitism is what you’re now catering for!

The days of an average player putting in the time and the bounties to get to max light are over. Who complained Bungie, the try hards, streamers and basement dwellers? Maybe you’re a million player sales down compared to previous release figures because nobody but the aforementioned try hards (what are they, 3% to 5% of your player base) asked for more difficult base content and more jumping about like a demented flea. This is up there with who on Earth asked for Marathon, we were asking for D3? New Release coming out and you still haven’t fixed bugs introduced in previous releases? Bungie, you’ve done all of this to yourselves and Sony Stockholders are watching……

I see what's coming in a few days as pretty mixed. It's definitely a risky pitch to acquire a new target audience of players. Normally, one does that with a completely new video game. But with Marathon on hold and no other resources left, Bungie tries this stunt with its only game left in existence, Destiny 2. From my perspective, it's a pure act of despair. Throwing one existing audience out of the window in hope of acquiring a new one. Most likely, because of the initiative of presenting Sony good numbers. One has to read the following article to see how "strange" it is at Bungie. "Toxic And Shut Down Creatives At A Core Level": Former Bungie Employees Aren't Happy With The Studio's Leadership I think all of that is pretty sad. And I don't see me playing "Edge of Fate" next week. I have every other DLC, starting with year one of Destiny 2, and there are still some tasks I have left. But I will not invest in the new progression system with its expiration. Massive Entertainment tried pretty much the same with The Division 2 last year. But they had such a high level of complaint that they never executed this idea. A few days ago, I reinstalled it, and to my surprise, other inadequacies, in the form of restrictions, were also gone. Respect! With "Edge of Fate," or as an additional feature added recently in Destiny 2, you will find a lot of mechanics already existing in The Division and 2 right from the start or for years. Like armor bonuses, loadouts, modifiers, targeted loot, world tiers, and even more. For those who are looking forward to the new DLC, more power to you! Edit: Text correction
