Procrastinators... I kid, if you didn't grind armor; and one of the biggest changes flying under the radar.

So, maybe you didn't grind armor & won't ... will EoF be a terrible experience as you replace your older stuff for the new stat paradigm? I've been musing about it... and I don't think so ☝😊. First, I will say... that what I say may seem initially like a direct contradiction.... so please know it's nuanced but also clear. 1. 100% Health will be a dump stat once you specialize... UNLESS... you specialize in Health. 2. This, quoted from Bungie, [i]"Health 1-100 Grants 0-70 healing when picking up an Orb of Power. Grants 0-10% flinch resistance. 100-200 Shields start recharging 0-25% more quickly and take 0-50% less time to fully recharge. 0 – 20 Additional shield capacity vs combatants".[/i] And here lies what is hiding in plain sight: If your armor now is resilience focused you'll get, A. 32% DR at base - we all get that B. Mega Healing from Orbs... Orbs, OrBs, ORBS! At 100 that's 70 per orb... that's like 3 or 4 orbs to fully heal you (at 30, to be clear). It's going to feel like Attrition lite without the negative factor. Can I recommend Powerful Attraction for you Guardians? It will be very strong with Resilience now Health focused armor... I'll bet you. 3. You just need to hit 30 mobility/weapons for parity to our current sandbox. If you're at 30, your weapons will do the same amount of damage they do now. 4. In the early to mid-game... min-maxed weapon dmg won't matter... that's Tier 1&2. But what might serve you... is Health, because you won't die as easily or as much... you can play more aggressive early on and it may help you get better loot, with better grading at lower tiers. 5. You're probably specialized already in one other stat... You probably have something that's Grenade or Melee heavy already... so pick a kit & you run it like that. Orbs giving healing at base is a bigger deal than people realize though specializing away from it, 'dumping it' shouldn't be much of a negative. I also don't think keeping it will be much of a negative either. Especially early to mid-game through Legend, possibly into Fabled. By then you should have new and better armor. At Ultimate... Mythic? I think if you have Health as a focus you need to build a tank for viability. With either Health and Class over 100... and then you get one more. Weapons... Grenade... Melee as your 3rd. One example off the top of the dome would be Prismatic Titan with Thruster... 100+ Health and Class... Grenade as your 3rd... with Spirit of the Bear 'Something'. Or an Actium T... on Prismatic. What I'm saying is our current stat priorities... the "paradigm"... will NOT be useless, you shouldn't feel any weaker as long as you can get your mobility near 30. 😇👍💠

    I believe this topic is relevant given today's TWiD. You have options... if you didn't grind armor in preparation, you'll be getting tons of healing from orbs. That's the TLDR. At Default with your Resilience now Health focused armor... And before people throw out its potential respective specialization... Do you, have you ever played Borderlands? We CAN make our Shields stronger now... we can improve their performance, the delay and rate. I know it's not 'flashy'... but you got to recognize the potential there, especially IF you ever played a Borderlands game. A Strong Shield can be a great asset. 😇👍💠 Edit: Let's spell it out... At 100 that's 70... we have 100... + 15 Recuperation... that's 85 health for every orb. I'm a PvE guy.. that seems great... but if you play PvP holy ****... the shield factors too. At 200 health .25 delay .45 rate +20 to your Shield.
