Okay choosing to ignore how outrageously stupid this whole situation is that bungies created.
My playstation account has all of my characters that I’ve used for the past 7 years. I’ve been playing on steam via crossplay for the past five.
I would like to link my PlayStation account to a new bungie account however when going through PlayStation it says it’s possible only to give me an error after I type in my username to delink the two.
I guess what I’m asking is there not a single way even if I were to go through PlayStation support to delink my bungie account from MY PlayStation account? If so what in the WORLD is the reason for even allowing us to disable crosssave? If we can’t move accounts around we should be able to skip the 90 day wait period.
I’m having a hard time recognizing how bungie thinks they are doing anyone a service for this baseless “account security”. I can prove I own every single account and can access them so why in the world are we dealing with this? Surely I’m missing a workaround

Hi there. This is not something Playstation support can help with unfortunately. Since March 25th, it is no longer possible for accounts to be unlinked from profiles or switched to different profiles after they've been linked. This is done to further combat against account recoveries and other bad actors. As for the 90-day cooldown for disabling Cross Save, there are no exceptions made to Bungie's policy. It cannot be shortened or removed. A warning about the cooldown is given when attempting to disable.
