ps4 still crashing on character selection screen
(CE-34878-0)ps4 crashes on character selection screen.i purchased season pass and cannot play,I got to play for maybe 15 mins 1 time.its not my hard drive or anything else, all other games work flawlessly.i have been playing every season for almost 6 years.this did not happen until edge of fate update.i have a updated hard drive and have even went to extent to delete all my games EXCEPT destiny 2 and have doneall necessarysteps to try to fix this on my end its something on bungies end.i have spent good hard earned money with you bungie and am a loyal player.multiple Playstation consoles are reporting this issue. please fix immediately it's not fair to neglect anyone in this game.error code ce-34878-0.destiny 2 in the only game with this issue on my console

We've been made aware that PS4 users are still experiencing crashes with Destiny 2, even after the latest patch. Rest assured that this issue is still being looked into. We've also been made aware that certain Edge of Fate equipment being in use can lead to crashing. If you have new items equipped to your characters, you may wish to use the Companion app to unequip those items, to see if that alleviates the crashing. Error (CE-34878-0) just occurred within the last hour 11am-12pm PDT. Goes to blue screen after character select unable to sign in. Please fix this problem ASAP!!! Thanks....

2 RepliesYes, it is correct and it works for me. Try it, remove all the new parts, whether they are shields or weapons, and the game will work normally. I changed it from the DIM application, but we hope that Bungie will fix these errors so that we can use the new parts.

The game then crashes on character select screen if Last Discipline Mark is equipped. Unequipping Last Discipline Mark via DIM app alleviates problem. Try unequipping anything you equipped prior to crashes.

Same exact thing here for me. I still as of July 19 am having this issue. Bungie needs to fix this error code.

Yeah crashes out for me when I first put on the bushido cloak or if I try to put mods on it. I went to destiny item manager and switched out my armor and it works fine now, but I see every content creator sporting this whole armor set and they're just running with just fine.

Me aparece el mismo error CE-34878-0 solo juego 15 min max y me saca del juego, según foros es por el nuevo equipo que salió pero aun así me desequipo y me monto armaduras qué tenía mucho antes y me sige sacando. Lo malo que quiero aprovechar qué bungie dejo todos los dlc gratis hasta el día 22 y hasta ahorita ni siquiera a podido aprovechar porque el juego me saca a cada rato. Que mala pasada de bungie

Same on PS4 pro. Also game GB says 274, but with edge of fate should 319. All add on say complete but 7-11can still be down loaded but no change
