Anyone else notice the Rocket Assisted Frame weapons aren’t able to pierce shields at all? I was doing testing in the shooting range, and I noticed that if you shoot a Lurker’s buckler with the Mint Retrograde, and it just goes straight through the entire model like as if I was just shooting thin air. I also tested it with rocket sidearms and even Buried Bloodline while being radiant/volatile rounds, all yielding the same results. “Normal” projectile based weapons like autos, pluses, lmg’s, fusions, lfr’s, etc. even swords seem to have no problem penetrating the shield and hitting the enemy model, but not anything rocket assisted for some reason.
EDIT: Upon further testing, I’ve noticed that the Rocket Assisted Frame rounds don’t penetrate ANY “frontal” type shields, including Cabal/Taken Phalanx shields, Hive Knight shields (both physical and magic), Hydra shields, and even the “Front Shielding” modifier shields. They can do everything else a normal weapon can do, like breaking elemental shields and stunning champions, but for some reason they can’t penetrate physical shields in the game, which make it kind of annoying for trying to run double special in higher difficulty missions.

Did you have the unstop sidearms artifact perk on during your testing? Turn it off if so.
