As a new player coming in at end of final shape it’s been non stop grind and steep learning curves as bungie does a piss poor job teaching new players how to play this game efficiently. Only reason I didn’t quit was a friend seeing my struggle got me a loadout and I fell in love with the dynamics of the gameplay which offset annoying grind and confusion etc. To say I’m annoyed with Bungie would be a massive understatement the amount of profanity I’ve uttered from dissatisfaction with them surpasses by far any game I’ve ever played by far. Anyway. Edge of fate comes I think yay fresh start level playing field when in reality it’s just been a boring gear grind that I dread logging in each day and makes me just want to play something else or quit. To top it off I do a -50 mythic and get one shot by a shank forcing me to find a boring range build to adapt. Spending my time and energy optimizing boring builds and grinding power is not fun. I have a huge lack of good legendary weapons I need to be learning new content and farming good weapons not banging my head off the wall doing this power grind. Tips welcome as I surely can use them.
