The community isn't streamers. it's the casual fan base. Stop listening to them

That’s not the problem. The problem is that you’ve had a number of devs at Bungie reach positions of authority who are too invested in making the game “difficult” instead of making it enjoyable. They are World of Warcraft fans, and Dark Souls fans…and want to remakes Destiny in their image. But not realizing that what makes Destiny popular is that it is a POWER FANTASY game…not a test of skill game. …and it is a loot game. Streamers are part of the problem because a very difficult game drives viewers and puts money in their pockets. But they wouldn’t have the impact that they have if they weren’t saying what Bungie devs wanted to hear. TLDR: Bungie has a bad habit of treating the game like it is their personal creative space…and not like a commercial product that is supposed to have its own identity.
