I've been playing since D1 launch. Quit for a few years due to D2 vanilla and curse of Osiris. This DLC and the tiered gear changes are the worst changes I have ever seen. The sun setting of all your great prior is absolutely insulting. Take a look at your vault and look at all the gear that has been made useless. Now look at the new gear you have earned. Yeah, all of that will be useless when renegades hits. There is literally no point in grinding for anything. There's really no point to this game anymy.

CoO was better than this garbage.
-
Worse, COO at least had a lost sector, new destination, patrols and public event on top of the infinite forest. COO was bad, YES! End of FUN has even less content than COO! EOF is worse by every metric!
-
ultra wrong but ok, leveling need to get fixed asap but the dlc is decent with one of the best story
-
CoO wasn't bad until youtubers started calling it bad
-
Special weapons sharing a slot with heavy weapons aside, Y1 of D2 was the better direction imo. Random rolls do not make this game better, and you will not convince me otherwise.
-
I was one of those guys who was playing d1 still when d2 was out. Still have some mercury tokens though.
-
The only thing that brought Curse down was the weapon system. This time around it's far more than just using shotguns in the Heavy Slot.
-
I think Curse was better Infinite Forest>Ball Mechanics
-
CoO at least had strikes, maps, cruce, etc.
-
Nah I kind of enjoyed curse of Osiris. Not much going on but was playable. Crucible wasn’t ruined, laser tag was fun This isn’t that. You’d think I’d enjoy 0.6 ttk on 390 pulses but no, I’m not having fun even when I’m winning. And the pve… dear lord. I’m about 3 missions in, every mechanic so far has bored me to tears, not sure I have the strength to continue. So… thanks to power level gated weapon tiers (why lmao??? Who could possibly think that was a good idea? Community hates power level, link everything to it…) guess I’m restricted to tier 1 weapons in PvP. Might be it for me.

Curse wasn't great but at least it gave us the Deej moment of the most rewarding public event ever, a genuine legendary "I was there" moment, when those two tokens and a blue dropped. And the strikes were pretty good, but that was when expansions came with strikes. I still laugh today when I think of Deej's face as those rewards dropped.

I’d rather have curse of Osiris
-
Jet Set Willy
Playing tells Bungie you like this 💩 - old
Worst ever for me. I continued playing through CoO. I played the first mission of Edge of Fate and stopped playing. -

The entire dlc is a nightmare.

Curse was better
-
I didn’t buy this expansion (first one I’ve skipped). It looks and sounds awful and I hate the “quality of life” changes. At this point, I’d rather play Curse.
-
I believe curse likely still had more content
-
Curse had infinite forest, basically a random tile arranger but those tiles could have been anything, ship interior, base, caves etc imagine a lost sector different everytime you enter? It was probably one of Bungies most innovative additions and entirely wasted.

You all saying Curse of Osiris was better must have your rose tinted glasses glued on your face. Edge of Fate is FAR from perfect but still better than CoO.
-
I’m gonna pass on this take…

Glad I didn’t buy it. From what I can see, $100 for some glorified patrols. No new strikes, PvP maps. At least curse of Osiris had a strike.
-
I quit for 2 years after Curse of Osiris and then the eververse boycott because of how much actual cool armor and such they locked behind the store. This expansion is reminding me of all of this. It’s just sad. It doesn’t feel like they put us first for this update. Big loss for Bungie. Honestly I hope that those who quit because of this expansion don’t come back just to show Bungie how much they messed up.

wasn't part of the game during CoO period, but if it was this bad, it makes a person wonder which mob Bungie is connected to that keeps them from being run out of game development and publishing completely. Maybe Yakusa, since they are a "partner" (property) of Sony now.
