The spark has gone, no matter what I try….
I think I’m on step 20 or 21 of the campaign?
I try to play for enjoyment, with optimism, but half the time I don’t actually know where I’m going, and the other half I’m a rollin’ ball…
I don’t mind a mechanic that is used sparingly, but Bungie have given matterspark the status of a favourite toy that you play with obsessively until something new catches your eye. Shoot generator here, spark there, drop shields here. It’s now become so irritating and so overused, that I don’t think I can bring myself to finish the campaign… and that’s only on one character.
I’ve never been good at video games, but for stress relief, blasting a few aliens has been a welcome distraction, but now I’m feeling hugely underpowered, seem to spend too much time looking for the way to go, and when I get there, I have to keep the ball rolling…
Sorry to say this Bungie, but the spark really has gone…

1 ReplyJust use matterspark. Its very effective and, for me at least, very fun. It only let's you down at the final boss when fighting shock bane captains since they hit your true health instead of ball health.

1 ReplyAgreed, Matters**t is a really dumb mechanic/hindrance. If it steered correctly, jumped consistently, and didn't in general handle like crap it might be more bearable. But it's garbage across the board. Cute idea, very poorly implemented and crammed up our collective b*tts.

2 RepliesGet past campaign and its same old destiny, I finished campaign twice now and am halfway through my third. I wouldn't have even done two playthroughs but you can't launch the raid unless you've cleared campaign.

That’s sad to hear. I dropped off after playing the first Edge of Fate mission, just couldn’t continue with matterspark. Normally it wouldn’t be overly important as I’d still play the older content but the other changes make me not want to play the rest of the game any more either. -

3 RepliesI really tired to get into EOF but no go ! All that’s is PvP for me and that’s a struggle now . Tonight played 3 games all spawn in’s into losing games and the last one the game was finished ..why would I carry on . How are the addicts doing ? 20-30 games …..how?! 🙄😂
