Bungie needs to fix the power grind or it's gonna kill the Game

So, I do think that there is a lot to like about the changes they recently brought to Destiny 2, but one thing that is killing it for a lot of players is the power grind. Getting from 10 to 200 isn't bad, you literally just have to complete the legendary kepler campaign once, but getting above 200 is where the grind truly begins. It feels like a slog that both sucks and is hopeless. Most of the player base doesn't have 3-4 hours a day to grind for gear that at best is only +4 above their current light level, so they are locked out of doing higher level content they may be interested in and the ones that do are doing the most mind-numbing things for barely any rewards. And then to top it all off, even if you get up to the hard-cap, you will be reset in 2-4 months and have to do it all over again if you want the new stuff from next season. This is what many players online are saying its not worth the time investment and those that are will be heavily discouraged and burnt out when Renegades rolls around. This is why Bungie needs to fix it. Now, I think there are a couple of ways to do it. 1. Increase the total rewards for completion of Portal activities by +1 across the board. This way, activities are more rewarding and become worth the time investment. There is a bit of nuance to the 2nd part, because there are several ways they could go about doing it. The first way is adjust the letter ranks light levels of new drops you get. So currently, I thinks it's C = +1 LL, B = +3, A= +4. Adjust these values slightly so that now C = +2 LL, B = +4, A= +6. This added in with the other above point will make the grind much less of a slog, more rewarding and enjoyable. The 2nd way they could go about doing this is, if they are not going to increase rate of Light level gain, then they need to make the time investment worth it. Those -blam!- a certain threshold before the new dlc drops will not have their light levels reset past a certain point, making the next round of grinding less of a slog. So, I think 350 or -50 Light levels below the hard cap could be the threshold for this season where if you reach that before Renegades drops, you will NOT be reset below that when it comes around. While this doesn't increase the rate at which you gain levels, it will make the investment more worth it, as your grinding and hard work is rewarded. Final point is there just needs to be more content in the Portal. Bungie needs to put Encore back in Pinnacle ops and put all the weekly rotating Exotic missions from pre EoF under Pinnacle Ops. Same thing with putting all the old strikes under Fire-team ops. I sincerely doubt they just vaulted everything, they should be able to add it into the system without much issue. And they need to come up with about a dozen more solo ops as well. Crucible could also use more modes in the portal. Admittedly, this isn't everything, but I believe these changes I've pointed out would alleviate much of the grind problem that is currently plaguing the game.
