The portal is a limited version of the game so bungie doesn't have to expand the armour and weapon drops to other elements of the game. Its just lazy development at this point. I'd far prefer running old raids, dungeons and other activities over the portal solo and fireteam events that have become nauseatingly boring. And then there are the bugs.. constantly. bungie needs to clean up their game before continuing to move forward.. And then, they need to know where they are taking the game because I don't think any of them have a clue.
