The Light???
Kepler is insanely far from our solar system, yet guardians still have the Light. It doesn’t make sense to me. Am I missing something? The story tells us that if the Traveler leaves Earth we’ll lose the Light. Is there a set distance like 5 light years from the Traveler or something or is it more just up to the Traveler?

2 RepliesThe implication is that if the traveler were to abandon Sol, it would be abandoning humanity and by extension, removing our connection to the light. Now it’s not entirely clear whether we would still have access to the light or not via our Ghosts, as we can still access our Light even after the events of Lightfall where it was suggested that the Traveler had been “killed” in the process to create the Portal. Hindsight 2020, this wasn’t the case, but that’s what was thought and implied when Lightfall had dropped.
