Add tier 5 status to some pre-EoF weapons.
Please convert some of the the end game weapon rewards to tier 5 loot. I am not saying every thing but the end game rewards from "recent" content should be a given. Such as but not limited to:
•Trials weapons, not all of them but at least the ones released with in the last 6months.
•Salvation's Edge raid weapons.
•Sundered Doctrine weapons.
•Iron Banner weapons, not all of them but at least the ones released with in the last 6months.
•Crucible competitive weapons such as redrix, mercurial, rose, ect.([i]I can understand why *these* weapons may be problematic to make tier 5. But with weight gate & the piss poor state of crucible you owe your community more then the middle finger you have given to these players[/i])

Knowing Bungie they will announce that you can get tier 5 old weapons, ahead of the next dlc. There will be plenty of hype and noise. When they implement, said guns will be capped at level 10.

I’d go further. I think all adept weapons from master raids should be tier 5. The time investment just to get a decent roll on those weapons is worthy of the tier itself. As is/was the grind to get weapon patterns for these weapons to craft. Crafted raid weapons should be tier 4. They should have the rotation back in for raids and dungeons. 2 old plus the current one each week, so 6 in total. All Master raids and dungeons that week should drop pinnacle gear from every encounter, once per character for the week. And every drop from master should be tier 5. Hell, even challenges on normal should give you a chance of tier 5 Yes, easier raids and dungeons will be an easier way of getting this gear, but why not? This game is supposed to be fun, not a -blam!--ing chore. Also it would reinvigorate the raiding community, as the newer raids, just aren’t it, evidenced by the number of cheaters doing Contest mode DP. I haven’t even set foot in the DP raid. What’s the point when I’ll get crappy versions of the gear until I’m 400 light?

It would be nice but they would make it like transmog when it came along. You can earn a limited amount in game. Then they will sell tokens for silver for those that want more than a couple.

Bring back the rest of the old guns as well that never got revamped. My Traveler's Judgement with Rapid Hit and Tap the Trigger slaps in pvp, and I would love a higher tier version. On another note, Day 1,000+ asking for a void adaptive/adaptive burst sidearm...

Playlist/ vendor weapons will no doubt be reprised in one form or another, and they did say something about "epic raids and dungeons" eventually, which will probably be how they'll introduce the catalysts for the associated exotics such as 1K or Wish Ender. The only weapons I would at least update to the current systems are the ROTN weapons because they didn't even have a "lifespan" of 1 season before they were immediately overshadowed by everything else we can get now. I mean, Last Thursday for example is dominating in both modes compared to Relentless. Or Solemn Remembrance compared to Judgment, the only people using those are probably just fooling around. As for current gear, I'm not going to ask for T5s, but I would appreciate it if they didn't wait until Ash and Iron to remove the hard cap to 450 or at least guarantee a certain number of drops that increase your level until then.
