I do not like this type of Grind
As stated by the title of this post. I am not sure what Bungie was trying to accomplish. This ain't it. This whole power grind behind a tier system, behind a different level system, has become a really big turn-off for me. I hate even more that we are going to get a soft sunset in September, restart this process all over again, it doesn't feel right to me, and it has made me play the game less and less now.
That's it. I do hope the game gets better, but that is too much copium even for me.

2 RepliesBut why are You or Anybody spending Your Time, Energy, & Resources grinding pass 200? You do know that here in a Month or so We'll All be dropped back to 200, so all Your Time and Resources spend will be Lost and for Nothing. I'm fine at 200 and if something higher than 200 drops doing weekly/daily edz, Cos, moon, etc, Bounties. Public events, or Random chests is just a Bonus.

It's baffling how anyone can look at this and think it's a good system. Everything about it is designed to make players be resentful to the game.

It’s a joke. New gear bonus too… waste of space nonsense to force a hamster wheel grind of 300 hours every 6 months forever

9 RepliesI am so annoyed that Bungie has seemingly prioritized streamers (or players who have tons and tons of time) over us "average" joes. It is one thing to reward SKILL, like completing a difficult GM or going Flawless. It is another to reward TIME, especially when it requires sooooo much time to get max rewards.

1 ReplyI hear you it sucks. Tonight I played 2 hours trying to get the last missing piece of solstice armor to drop, the helmet. I could not get one drop in 2 hours. But every thing else dropped multiple times

Reset is december the second. Mid season update on 9th of september will add another 100 levels so total levels will be 550. you will get reseted to level 200 on the 2nd december. They need to add old raids and dungeons so you can level whereever you like. They don‘t give any progress over level 200 right now.

The Tier system i think is good as a progress towards a goal but limiting it to Solo Ops, Strikes and recycled exotic missions is not right. Bungie need to bring back weekly featured raids and dungeons and raise the projected gear power level up for when you have a customised op at max rating.
