What's the worst offender?

Did I miss anything?
(It won't let me do more than 7)
Why is it bad?
Any compromises?
How would you fix it?

Not perfect but better than what he had. With the new system, we can leave more into build crafting. Is it perfect? Absolutely not but it’ll get there.

How do I choose more than one? 🤣🤣🤣
-
It’s not perfect, but the new armor and stats system is better than the old one. More build variety, more powerful as well. I prefer the new version, but again it’s not perfect and the way to grind for them, especially tied to GR, and the fact that they restricted some activities like conquest to 1 is bad.

It’s a farm and we’re the livestock.

There are so many problems with the new system…every thing u mentioned is a major issue

Wish I could add a vote to everyone of these options because they're all valid.

Pro: I like the rework of stats. Such as: all classes have a class stat- they should build into if they want to use it more. Con: The system for build-crafting now seems too restrictive and overly complex vs simple. It wants you to focus on 1-3 stats being high. I haven’t been able to do so- but it doesn’t seem like there are many ways to get to 200 in one stat. Unless, you build everything towards that one stat. Therefore, leaving other important stats behind. I could be wrong- but I also thought Health was supposed to be a fixed amount. Now it’s a stat added- so if you want to heal more- you have to build into it. Again- I haven’t tried it yet- to be at 200 for a stat. However, there doesn’t seem to be much reason to go much above 100.

Edited by Stalkholm: 8/8/2025 8:09:43 PMI chose "The seasonal bonus is sunsetting 2.0." I'm mostly okay with the new Tiered system and how it's been implemented, but I don't like the restrictiveness of the gear bonuses, I don't like being discouraged from using weapons I worked for. 9/10ths of my vault is disadvantaged compared to the new stuff, which would be fine if I was getting 1:1 replacements for what's needed for my build, but we're limited by the comparatively small number of new weapons we're getting. I like playing the game the way I like playing the game, being cajoled into building around new gear is frustrating. I want to use the new gear because it's better for my build, not because I need the 2%-10% extra damage offered by the new weapons. My vault is full of good weapons that I'm reluctant to use because they don't get the Featured Gear bonuses like extra Damage, extra Damage Resistance, and higher event scores. If the new gear is good, it can stand on its own, it shouldn't need to be propped up with artificial bonuses. Edit, suggested fixes: I think Bungie should depreciate the Featured Gear idea. Tiered weapons are better because they're Tiered; Tiered armor is better because it offers better stats; let the new gear stand on its own, let weapons be better (or not) based on their perks, don't strong arm us into using the new stuff with artificial bonuses, and, reciprocally, don't put second-hand nerfs on our old gear.

Why isn’t there an option for it to be good lmao. Maybe speed it up but this is probably one of the best changes they’ve ever made. And -blam!- crafting

I assume "required to progress" means the TIME it takes to progress... Because that is 100% the worst part of the whole thing. There would not be nearly as many complaints if progress was faster.

How about "I like it"?

My solution would be to lower the power grind to 300 & require doing the hardest activities to get T5 gear. Also, they need to get rid of needing to equip your highest leveled gear to raise your score. The new gear bonus makes sense, but we shouldn't need to constantly equip our absolute highest power gear every time we do an activity.

That's a very manipulative poll, which demonstrates just why polls can't be relied upon.
