Same issue been grinding out solstice Scorched playlist since reset not a single smg drop it's been 3 days grinding out not once i saw a smg drop I have to get mine from that holiday event track whatever like seriously bungie i have to get my tier 3 crap perks holofoil smg from that event track

Going to assume you’ve been getting your A rankings in Grandmaster Portal Activities, which at your Light Level and Guardian Rank should be essentially guaranteed Tier 5 drops for both Solstice Weapons and Armor. If you have been getting Tier 5 Solstice Weapon drops then the issue [i]may potentially[/i] be one of Cosmetics; from my experience Tier 5 Solstice Weapons drop with the [b]Achronal Ornament[/b] (a generic pulsating blue glow that can be covered up by any Shader) equipped by default. Unequipping this Ornament from the Cosmetics screen will display the Weapon’s base skin, which at Tier 5 has a chance of being either the animated Water and Sand Holofoil or the more basic orange/pink/purple Sunset look. Hopefully you have been experiencing only a [i]perceived[/i] lack of Holofoil drops due to the Ornament being equipped by default rather than an [b]actual[/b] lack of drops after having individually checked every drop by unequipping the Achronal effect; in the latter case (assuming you’ve been getting Tier 5 drops) I’m afraid I don’t have logical explanation aside from the fact that extreme statistical outliers do crop up on occasion.
