Not a single light level increase in 5 days
ONCE AGAIN, bungie catering to its elite group of flawless, raid racers and streamers and leave the rest of the community stuck.
I have friends who have gained 60 light levels in 2 days on my list. This person went from 360 to 422 in two days. I’ve got one pinnacle armor drop total in 5 days and 2 total on all 3 characters in 10 days. I used all my tools, seasonal pinnacle drops, Zavala rewards and all tools, only when I was stuck.
The conclusion to all this was the 3 weeks and two all-nighters grinding won’t ever happen again. My interest is completely gone, playtime is dwindling and I don’t see enough good things at this point to invest any more time than a game or two a day.
All actions have consequences, even for you bungie. The choice is do you want them to be positive or negative, it’s up to you.

You're one of those braindead light farmers that rinsed the same activity over and over and got bored. Now you're complaining because you're not max light, even though thousands of people can't even hit 350. Gtfo of here man.

That's just how you get burnt out and frustrated, I don't even care for trying to get to 450 myself until Bungie perhaps changes things for the better (and I say this as somebody with currently lots of free time and who has been a longtime Destiny player with thousands of hours into Destiny). Outside of maybe for some more Solstice loot, I have no desire to really play Destiny right now. The game used to not be fully this way and there was more to it than simply chasing light level and playing the same few activities hundreds of times. But maybe you're going about it the wrong way perhaps? Do you race to the end of activities without doing the side objectives or killing much enemies and thus not get as high of a score as you could have?

Perhaps it's time for you to step back from D2 and consider seeking professional mental health help, you've got some issues going on here.

Yeah i finished the second Conquest and Im like 414 or 415. Im not grinding for a small chance to go up 3/8 of one power level. Screw that. I'll just login on Tuesdays for thr Zavala items. What a joke.

1 ReplyYeah they really need to do something about the 400-450 grind. At this point we're playing on auto-pilot, it's never challenging and never fun. I'm even mixing it up with a bunch of different solo and fireteam ops'es but it's still no better and there's going to be even less will and incentive to grind once solstice is over and we dont get the free level 5's anymore. Also, nothing kills the mood more than having played 30 activities with no drop so you pick up the weekly free ones...and that's when you get the exact same drop one activity later. They need to put in some mechanics where the lowest item drops. Hell, I was waiting for a chest piece to drop just to get my gear up to the rest in hopes that it would round my overall power up by one, as in a chest piece at my level, and even that took like 30 tries.
