6 hours no powerful drops
Seriously, this 400-450 grind is unbearable.

373 level now and giving up. It's a huge waste of time and not worth your sanity. Is like Bungo wants players to quit. I don't wanna play anymore. My guardian and supers feel weak...oviously supers and guardians were heavily nerfed. I hope Sony reverts all the new changes. If not, I'll just wait for borderlands 4 to come out. Don't wanna waste anymore time grinding leveling anymore. So glad I didn't buy the new DLC.

1 ReplyYeah in six days I went up 7 light.. and it's the same , 4 missions . Can't even play old raids and dungeons. It's literally wasting time..I'll be drinking a lot tonight to numb the pain

Have you figured out yet that the leveling from 400-450 is about the same amount of time as 10-400?

2 RepliesI can't see anything changing, bungie have been completely silent on the power grind, the TWIDs are getting shorter and shorter by the week, it feels like this is the strategy now, they won't talk about it, they won't change it. When the reset comes and everyone is back to 200 power and all that gear that was grinded for is no longer usable in their avant garde mode, reality will bite for most players. This is a new game being implemented alongside an old game in an attempt to start with some sort of player base.

That’s Bungies idea to keep players spend more time in game. The sooner you get to 450, the less you are going to play afterwards. Many are already burned out from this grind. Do not expect great things from Bungie. The game is on life support and it won’t get better.

The problem has nothing to do with the grind and all to do with no new content

At the beginning of Solstice I was around 340 PL and surprisingly I was getting a few T5 drops. The stat distribution was poor so they were recycled but eventually I made it to 400 today. I complete the GM dark priestess solo, 2 mins on the clock and Gold A rank score. Nothing dropped over 400, one piece of gear was a T3 400, no T4 or T5 gear. The more I grind the worse the rewards?? The system doesnt make sense. If 400 to 450 is going to be this miserable I'm done.

I don't think they know what they are doing. I legitimately think they are just screwing things up bug wise and that's why so many are complaining. Like i'm getting entirely 230 lvl go 6-7 times in a row and all my season pass gear was 228 and thats the lvl of all my gear when i unlocked edge of fate. If this is intentional they are off their rockers.

After I hit 400, I just gave up with leveling. There was already a sense of RNG to grinding when it comes to getting the right equipment to drop. The post 400 grind basically double downs on that grind. Don't waste your sanity. Just go for Zavala's Pinnacles and call it a week. Anything extra you get is just a bonus.

All my drops are underpowered I can't raise my light level. It's like Bungie want us all to quit.

2 RepliesKeep playing solo. 16 to 20 runs, it will drop prime (+3 power level RNG drop on weapon or gear). As long you have clan that have banner for prime drop. That what I did in few run.

2 RepliesSince the beginning of solstice ive gotten 3 tier 5s and not a single holofoil weapon Ive put in a solid 300ish solo ops on gm. insane rng.

6 RepliesWhen I was 399 I easily beat solo Caldera with A score. Now at 400 I have to put modifiers up to 440-450 just to hit A rank! Now it sucks and is almost impossible to beat and takes twice as long! If the 400-450 grind is this hard, it might make me quit playing!

Its pretty spicy. Only A card matters snd progress is slow. Good thing is tgat time does not matter, only thing what matters tgat you put enough modifiers to A card score

I don’t know what’s been my luck lately but I finally started my Titan/warlock and they have been getting all the pinnacle drops opposed to only playing my hunter since EOF dropped. I was grinding relentlessly on Hunter for pinnacle drops, getting absolutely nothing but the weekly stuff from Zavala and event reward track drops. Rotated to the other two and within first couple of caldera runs today got a +3. Same farming mines with my warlock yesterday, the drops were actually in my favor power wise and felt like I was progressing. It also helps the armor you forge on the other characters come out pinnacle too so that has tremendously helped boost my accounts overall baseline power. My opinion on power grind is changing slightly positive thanks to power being account wide so if I get to 410 on my titan or warlock I can switch back over to my main, Hunter, and have his drops at 410. The biggest issue I’m having now is all my armor is dropping with health spikes and it’s driving me insane.
