So a few things i want to say , im not going over the issues with Power grind and stuff like that as pretty much as a majority seem to hate it. Before EOF we raised our power mainly to A, feel more powerful and B. to play what we would think as the endgame or more difficult activities mostly with friends and clan members But you have totally stripped all that from the game, the more powerful we get the less powerful we actually are due to always needing to be under power to get any good progression or loot and you have killed playing with friends unless they are all at a similar power level. After all this grinding it seems as if your plan is to reset all the work we put in completely in the next DLC by none of the new weapons and armour being featured and the power grind to start all over again. So really what is the grind for anymore ? its a 6 monthly hamster wheel with no endgame worth doing (even the riad rewards are pathetic ) and that's even if you can find anyone to do it with. forget the clan or friends if any will still be playing after the reset anyway. So i ask again what is the endgame , when do we get to play with friends and sometimes just run a more chilled fun activity but with some half useful loot like we used to. The following should be obvious to you 1). Solstice is keeping the numbers up due to the loot dropping, after this week the numbers will drop again unless you can find another way to reward players for their time. 2). When Renegades release if you go ahead with the reset the numbers will drop even more (No way I'm doing all this again for nothing) 3). Lack of reasons to actually play is something that has been an issue for some time and this is nowhere near the solution , if anything its way worse. No idea what you major plans are but if any of them include not solving the above main issues then the player base will just get lower and lower and Marathon is not your salvation its looking like its half dead before its released, you have a game that could keep you going called Destiny 2 you just need to give it some thought and learn to read the room.
