If locked loadouts were not currently tied to progression, I would be fine with locked loadouts. BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Locked loadouts in PVE master and grandmaster is forcing us to use a very limited range of gear.
Furthermore, many endgame activities have multiple, different sections with stress points, and being able to switch weapons makes ABSOLUTE sense. In some sections, a sword might be useful, while in others, a machine gun is better.
Now, we have to choose our loadout in advance, which is a major problem in matchmade quickplay, We can't discuss out loadouts as a fireteam in advance and instead of variety of weapons all having different benefits, I often end up in quickplay with all three players with the exact same loadout.
Being forced by Bungie to use a very limited number of weapons and armor in every endgame, progression activity just isn't fun. You have taken all the joy out of finding great loot.
Stop tying the entirety of pve 300+ progression to locked loadouts or give us other ways to progress. Stop creating an endless grind that takes all the fun out of Destiny and let us use the stuff we earn. Keep locked loadout for ultimate fireteam ops only.
Note: I am aware the new raid doesn't have locked loadouts, but according to statistics, only 11 percent of Destiny players have ever completed a raid,.

Don’t use the modifier, don’t use matchmaking, and create your own team so you can coordinate, none of this is rocket science. Unless Avant Garde is active, you aren’t forced to do anything. There isn’t a single piece of content in the portal, even at GM difficulty, that needs weapon or load-out swaps. Stress points? You’re speaking out of your a$$ lol.
