Name change token?
Hello. If anyone from bungie were to read this that would be awesome. I hopped back on destiny 2 the other day to play VOG with a group of friends and the reminded me that my name is the default ''gaurdian'' name. They also told me that we all should have gotten name change tokens very recently so I went and tried but had no luck. I simply want my old gamertag that I have been using since I have been playing on Xbox in 2014. Any help would be appreciated

Edited by EckyThump: 8/16/2025 1:04:02 PMHey there, just to be clear, if you can enter a new name in the name change box, it means you do have name change available. - If you're entering a new name and it is not being saved, that means it's hitting the name filter. Trying to reuse a previously moderated name will likely fail, as ishikusui also mentioned. You'd just have to keep trying things. (Your name may not have been reported, and reset by Bungie, it may have been rejected right at the start by the autofilter when you first logged in) - If you genuinely have no name changes, then you will not be able to enter a new name into the box at all. Also it will say 'no name changes available' below. Which of the above matches your situation?
