If not you won't be able to start another mission where at the end you pick up a stranglet. You can only carry 1. So if you do a mission where at the end you pick up the stranglet ( looks like a cup) you simply go to alter ( Kepler vendor) and right next to it is where you deposit it. If you've done the campaign on lower difficulty you should know what I mean as you do it during the campaign.
