Dear Bungie, I don't really understand the recent GL nerf down to 300 RPM. At 324 RPM it actually brought GL back to life and made it relevant again (without making it overpowered). But at 300 RPM they're irrelevant once more and lose hard to all 3-burst pulse rifles like The Messenger, Chattering Bone, Elsie's Rifle, Blast Furnace and others. Yeah, it's okay but clearly falls short and loses to them. Why you did this - I don't get it. It's really strange to see (and this isn't rare with you) that legendary weapons are way better than exotics (especially in PvP) (considering their absolutely unique perks and especially the craftable rolls that give them traits almost better than exotics). Meanwhile there are plenty of other weapons, like certain hand cannons, that are literally begging for a nerf but you're not doing anything. Honestly, this hand cannon meta is extremely exhausting and has gone on way too long. Going back to GL - yes, you'll say it has good stats, a decent secondary shot - but alas, that's just not enough, because you can take Elsie's Rifle, grind for a god roll, slap a mod on it, and even enhance its perks. And the weapon becomes way deadlier than any GL. In the end, GLs can't match scout rifles in damage and accuracy, but they also lose to good regular pulse rifles.
