AMD offers open source plugins, like FSR, that might help improve Destiny 2's performance.

For the most part Destiny 2 has really solid performance, but there are some areas and effects that really tax my GPU; depth of field, for example, really hurts my framerate. These occasional performance problems seem to have become worse with Edge of Fate, some effects can take my framerate from the 100s to the 50s. I just wanted to put out there that AMD offers FSR as an open source plugin that could maybe be integrated into Destiny 2. Bungie has already worked with AMD in the past to implement Radeon Boost, and the two technologies work well together, so there's precedent. Some versions of FSR even run on Nvidia and Intel GPUs, so it's not like they'd have to be locked to AMD hardware. I'm sure Bungie is already familiar with GPU Open, but like I said, I just wanted to put it out there. https://www.gpuopen.com/ Edit: Full disclosure, I am not a software engineer, but to hear AMD describe it the plugins are meant to be easy to use and easy to implement.
