Solstice Event Ruined. Worst One Yet.
What were y'all thinking this time around? Since the launce of EoF, I've devoted my build to revolve around my grenade, and I've almost perfected it. My grenade stat is a 196. Then I hear solstice is coming back, my all time favorite event destiny does. But... Then y'all went and turned it into the absolute worst event you have ever put on. First off, Scorch PVP of all things? Really? The most garbage pvp game mode, and we're forced to grind it if we want anything. And then if we chose not to torture ourselves with scorch PVP, then we're FORCED TO GIVE OUR GRENADE UP for the worst excuse for a grenade slot activation; grapple. My entire build was forcibly thrown out the window that I worked tirelessly towards. Either bring solstice back and make it an actually good event where we can use our builds, and a game mode we actually want to play, or just give me my full incandescent armor set that I deserve and acquired every time before this since y'all actually let me before this one. I've never been this upset with Bungie ever before. Everything I wanted to do to work towards Solstice, was terrible, garbage, and forced me to change everything about my gameplay either way I played.

4 RepliesYou haven't played for long if you think this is the worst event. People most certainly have rose tinded glasses about the EAZ, especially after connuniry feedback about it being too difficult to find chests, resulting in the mode being significantly neutered. The last couple years it was cookie cutter bland and im happy that instead of trying to resurrect a corpse, they made other parts of the game more enjoyable with the modifiers and oh yeah, actually good loot. Bungie with 2 events so far is leaning way more into having very good loot during events and its a banger. Not everyone will think that, but 8ts nowhere near bad as people make it out to be.
