I haven’t been keeping up to date with the Trials changes. Last time I played was first Trials week in Heresy and it felt really good. I could usually solo queue to flawless with minimal resets and games felt really fair. But I played Trials last night and today for the first time this expansion and wow….it feels different. Not all, but most games have felt like my teammates don’t know how to play and my opponents are at least competent. This does not match how Trials has felt for me for the past couple years. Maybe it’s the map. Maybe it’s the meta. Maybe I just magically suck now lol. But what I do know is these games have felt very similar to how that one weekend back in the day that had Lobby Balancing mistakenly enabled. Hopefully Bungie takes a look at the match making settings cause if it’s gonna be like this going forward, I might have to retire. Best I did this weekend is a 6 streak and got a goated T5 roll on the LMG which is mostly what I cared about. I could live with not touching this playlist for the forseeable future.
