Pvp is really a burning dumpster
Damn... This is just unplayable and sad to see so much potential go to waste like that. And the worst part imon is you really take the community for playtesters. Same for pve too.

6 RepliesDude. You have 3 characters at level 10, and therefore using old weapons. What did you expect your results to be? I'm just now getting caught up. Was behind the curve and taking a beating by those that leveled up in a week. But..... I'm having a good time now, just shy of 350 but have good tier 4s, some 3s, and a few 5s..... It makes a HUGE difference. Synergy / build crafting in this iteration is actually very good. I was skeptical/ resistant at first. Its been great tinkering with it, and I'm starting to enjoy the new system. It enables you to focus & be centric in a lot of different ways.... .... I have one entirely separate build for CQ maps. One general purpose build at 4x 100s, and another that's weapons forged focused (but my least favorite). Some old weapons like my Nechrochasm with full catalyst can still kill....but it doesn't synergize as well as other new weapons.

2 RepliesPosting angry brings in the trolls. Don’t do it. Some advice. Learn from the sweats. Typically they run meta builds. Mirroring their builds will help bring you up to par. Next game follow the leaders, not the crowd. They know the maps and mechanics. Playing as a fireteam works well but if everyone lines up you are easily caught in the crossfire. Following another player helps. Yes hacks exist. Aimbots exist. Mod controllers exist. They are infuriating. Hard to tell sweats from hacks especially when player volume is low. Even more difficult when matchmaking keeps making guaranteed wins and losses.

PvP is what it is now ….dying out . Nothing new in a while and nothing said .right now it’s just long wait times , mercies and server problems . Have no idea how the addicts are still play other 20 games 🙄😂

Totally agree.. matchmaking is the absolute worst of any game. And despite their claims of cleaning it up, all they've done is ban cheats that might have made their Day One Raids look bad. Always about Bungie and never the players.

Other than cheating and much more lag than previously, seems mostly like same old same old to me. That includes something being an outlier at all times, thats not a good thing just consistent

4 RepliesHow can we PvP players have fun going up against people who use tools like Cronus Zen or Xim Apex to remove weapon recoil, magnetic aim, etc.? Since Bungie hasn't implemented a solution for this yet, what's the point of reporting it if I've never seen any difference? Marvel Rivals, which launched less than a year ago, has already implemented mechanisms and policies to solve this problem. What about Destiny? Since Forsaken, this has been a problem that has been getting worse and worse. It's now impossible to play a team match in a console queue. It's better to play with someone on PC in your squad than in a team queue on console! How long will Bungie allow this and not comment? I know the game is going through a difficult time, but one of the most negative aspects of playing Destiny PvP is precisely this. It's extremely disheartening to play Destiny 2's PvP.
