If you play all 3 characters and have played the game since its been out I imagine you are feeling the pains of this new armor system and all the vault pressure it is adding. There are so many different combinations and then on top of that you have to get lucky and roll the right tuning slot on a T5 after already getting lucky with your tertiary stat. I simply can't play the game with all 3 characters anymore as it just becomes vault management simulator. I have very minimal duplicate weapons(pvp/pve rolls), only 1 set of illegal dps swap armor per character, probably about 10 legacy items that are unobtainable like sunset raid weapons, and about 5-10 duplicate exotics with different stat distrubutions that are also unobtainable atm. The only wiggle room I have in my vault is my crafted weapons that I do not use very much atm, but the fact that every single one of them have a trials momento makes me not want to delete them because for some reason they are one of the only mats/resources that have been a limited, time gated resource since they have been introduced. If I could farm trials momentos on a flawless passage or even go flawless again to just get momentos from the lighthouse a 2nd time I would try. But as someone that started pvp getting my -blam!- kicked in pc lobbies, its taken me a long time to get to the point that I am where I can go to the lighthouse solo, and each one of those trials momentos is like a small mini trophy for me. If I could even delete the weapon to get the momento refunded to me that would be such an alleviation on vault space. I realize that my complaint is rather nuanced but part of me believes there is a larger group of people that share a similar experience, at least to some degree. The idea of putting the trials momento on your crafted weapon always felt reminiscient of the old CoD days where you would go for fall/gold camo on your guns to show them off. At this point I'm just trying to come up with a solution to help other gamers feeling the vault pressure atm. I may just avoid my warlock for the episode because I literally can't store anymore T5 armor from this solstice event which has incurred major fomo. I love this game and want to keep playing it. But man, these changes have raised a need for vault space at an unprecedented level and it is making the game feel extremely tedious to play. Every armor drop I have to go into DIM now and check if I have an exact same distrribution with the same tuning slot. BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE. Theres also SET BONUSES you need to worry about, which are really cool in concept. Right now theres only a handful that are worth running/building into in end game. But just wait for the Halloween event which gives bonuses to arc verbs or whatever... You get my point, the armor vault management problem is only going to get worse. It truly does feel like Bungie is using this pressure as soft sunsetting to get rid of our old gear, even if theres not new gear to replace everything. Unfortunately I am reaching the point where I would rather just take a break from playing the game until they figure this out/give us more space vs. deleting a weapon that we don't have an immmediate replacement for.
