Hey Guardians,
Something about Solemn Remembrance immediately caught my attention — its Impact stat is 94, higher than the usual 140 RPM hand cannon (Luna’s Howl and Not Forgotten are at 84) and even higher than 120 RPM Precision Frames, which sit at 92. It hits harder than a typical 140, but does it actually fire like one?
Testing TTK in Crucible and comparing to other 140 RPM hand cannons like Palindrome shows the following:
Palindrome (140 RPM, Adaptive Frame): 2 crit + 2 body ≈ 0.86s — expected TTK for a 140 RPM.
Luna’s Howl & Solemn Remembrance (listed 140 RPM, Precision Frame): same 2 crit + 2 body ≈ 1.00s
TTK is directly tied to RPM. If these weapons were truly 140 RPM, they would match Palindrome’s TTK. The fact that they don’t indicates these guns are functionally operating like 120 RPM weapons, despite the stat card.
The high Impact makes them look strong, but the firing rate and TTK suggest a backend discrepancy or mislabeling, not a perception issue.
Has anyone else noticed this or run similar tests? The numbers don’t match the feel, and it seems worth bringing attention to.

I would like solemn even more if it dropped more than once every 10 games .
