This doesn't read to me like OP is hating on streamers, it reads like they're frustrated that Bungie is listening to streamers at what he feels is the expense of the community. To be fair to Bungie, somewhat: In terms of sheer quantity, I doubt anybody gives Bungie more feedback than the streamers do, on a person by person basis, I mean. Like, I've never made a half hour video discussing my frustrations with the game, but streamers do that five days a week. Thing is, I don't always agree with the streamers anyway, I like 'em, but I don't dote on them. Streamers are the top 1% of players, at least in terms of play time, they aren't really representative of the larger community; they're influencers, they're influential, but that doesn't mean they speak for us. I think Bungie could benefit from polling the community, asking us what we think, maybe even front loading it into the game engine so it's not just forum goers and email checkers who see it. Ask about things like difficulty, loot rewards, light levels, game direction, favorite activities, whatever. I don't know how influential streamers actually are for developers (Who was asking for matterspark?), but it might do Bungie some good to solicit opinions from the community. They asked about Warlock class fantasy, that's a start!
