New Player - Game Unplayable due to Portal Scorecard Bug (PC/Steam)

I've recently bought the game, including the Year of Prophecy expansion on Steam, have played for about 3 hours as a Warlock and have encountered a bug that has rendered the game unplayable. After completing my third portal run for the Guardian rank, the post game scorecard keeps popping up on the screen no matter where I am. I tried to start the Edge Of Fate story, but it popped up there. It popped up in the EDZ, the Cosmodrome and the Tower. So far I have tried: Restarting the game. Running another portal op. Creating a new character (it popped up immediately on the opening mission) Creating another new character (Same thing). Clearing Steams download cache Uninstalling and reinstalling Destiny 2. Restarting my PC Praying to the dark gods. None of these have solved the issue and the constant popping up of the scorecard is annoying enough to render the game unplayable. Therefore I'm stuck with a rather expensive, useless lemon. Can anyone advise me on how to fix this please?

 • Hello there, Thank you for reaching out. We understand the post-game scorecard is persisting. Having reviewed the screenshots you linked us to, we can imagine how this would have impacted your experience with the game. While we realize you have tried some troubleshooting, these additional steps from our Steam Guide may hopefully help:
- OS and Driver Updates: For the best experience, we recommend that players ensure that they have accepted all updates to their OS and drivers. If players believe they are encountering issues with Destiny 2 on PC, they should ensure that their PC software is up to date. - Windows Defender: Destiny 2 players on PC may encounter an issue where Windows Defender incorrectly detects specific Destiny 2 files as infected with malware when performing a scan. Players who encounter this issue should update their virus definitions. For more information, please see our Windows Defender knowledge base article. - CVARS Troubleshooting: When encountering configuration issues in Destiny 2, it is recommended that players delete their existing CVARS.xml file. This file can be found in: \Users\USER_NAME\Appdata\Roaming\Bungie\DestinyPC\prefs\ PLEASE NOTE When relaunched, Destiny 2 will generate a fresh CVARS.xml file. This will revert all custom player settings in Destiny 2 to their defaults.
