Name change?
My name is “Sov On My Knob” which was a hilariously unique and creative way to explain our relationship with Mara Sov.
My name has been that way for literally 3yrs, I logged on today and received a “Crossplay” name change message showing that my name was changed to “redacted1908”.
What the actual heck? Someone OBVIOUSLY reported me, but my name isn’t offensive in anyway so I’m super confused.

If your name was changed for you, this means it was in violation of the [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049202731-Bungie-net-Code-of-Conduct-and-Expanded-Definitions]Code of Conduct[/url]. Bungie does not provide details as to why specific names are actioned. If you have name changes remaining, you can use them to change your name, provided the new name passes inspection from the name filter and you are not attempting to go back to a previously actioned name. Otherwise, you'll unfortunately be stuck with the name you currently have; Bungie does not process custom name changes on players' behalf. If you have changed your name to a variation of your previously actioned one, as may be the case for you based on your visible name here, please know the name will likely be actioned again.
