Stop using streamers as your only source of feedback on game changes and direction
The sheer number of times you’ve given all expenses paid secret behind the scenes tours and private demos to streamers is ridiculous.
If follower numbers mattered, Joshua Block has over 5 million followers so maybe he should be flown into bungie HQ instead of your streamers who flaunt their 1 million followers as if that’s actually something. If a belligerent alcoholic autist can have more followers than all the top destiny streamers combined, then maybe it’s time to reconsider what internet clout really means.
Maybe influencers really aren’t that important ??
Maybe people really don’t want harder and harder content, even less power fantasy, or worst of all shorter time gated content like events that only last 1 or 2 weeks long at max.
Iron banner worked being only 1-2 weeks since it came multiple times a season. At least once a month. Solstice only comes once a F-ing year and you think only 2 weeks is enough to celebrate it?

BHQs Marketing Department adores high follower numbers…it makes a lot of sense in their narrow view of the Destiny universe. Any ‘video maker’ who earns $s for promoting a thing, their views must be taken with a large pinch of salt. Self-interest governs their every move. I’ve made a handful of papa / son Destiny vids, on a very vanilla level…and that took me ages to do. I wouldn’t even consider to do anymore. I appreciate and applaud those video makers who churn out those walkthroughs and other (mostly) useful tutorials I/we all rely on! They earn every penny; and enjoy my full support. The bigger issue: BHQ and their nonstop missteps that simply ignite an already volatile and super-primed customer base. Also, BHQs HUBRIS…Greed…Deliberate ignorance re the wishes of the customer base - the players that keep BHQs lights ‘on’… It’s nothing new. It’s been this way since way back. Different folks…same / similar strokes. The vibe in D1 was very different to the D2 / current vibe…iykyk…👈 The Solstice loot show was a good step forward. The game needs more of that! Remember: less is NOT more…no matter what ‘mr over delivery’ might say. 🤡🤥🤡 That is all. Play Fair! Play Nice! Don’t Cheat!👈👈👈 Ease Springs! 🖖
