Legendary vs Exotic
Hi, Bungie.
How did we get to the point where almost any legendary weapon is orders of magnitude better than exotic ones? Legendaries offer much more diverse perks, the ability to farm god rolls, more perks overall (sometimes 7 vs. 4-5), the option to craft enhanced versions, insert mods, and even level them up to boost EVERY perk, literally every single one.
Isn't the whole point of exotics supposed to be that they are concentrated power, not the other way around? Yes, there are irreplaceable exotic items, but you can see the stats yourselves.
And yes... Could you please tell us how long it will take for you to realize that Graviton Spike and the AUREUS NEUTRALIZER are a bit broken?
After all these years, in one meta or another, hand cannons—aren't you tired of them too?

1 ReplyIf I remember correctly, years ago, Bungie said that a weapon being “exotic” does not mean that it’s necessarily suppose to be an amazing weapon or game changing. It’s meant to be [u]exotic[/u] - it’s suppose to be able to do something that no other weapon can do. Is this always the case? Absolutely not.
