It’s great to see Warlocks finally getting some minor buffs in Ash and Iron, but there’s still one glaring issue that feels completely ignored: Chaos Accelerant. This Aspect has been neglected for years. Back in Witch Queen, it was nerfed into the ground during the Void 3.0 overhaul. Its damage bonus was stripped away, Void Grenades themselves were hit with damage reductions, and the "compensation" was the ability to apply Weaken--something that hardly made up for the loss. Since then, outside of giving an extra Fragment slot and improving Handheld Supernova, Chaos Accelerant has remained untouched. Compare that to Aspects like Touch of Thunder, Touch of Winter, Touch of Flame, or even Mindspun Invocation--all of which (to some degree) provide strong, meaningful improvements to grenades and feel like true identity-shaping Aspects. By contrast, Chaos Accelerant asks players to charge their grenades for what’s currently a very lackluster payoff. If Bungie wants this Aspect to stand alongside others, it needs more. Nothing overpowered, but at least something that makes it worth dedicating an Aspect slot. Here’s a potential rework: [b][u]CHAOS ACCELERANT[/u][/b] Overcharged grenades deal +15% increased damage. Enhanced effects: • Vortex Grenade: In addition to increased size, duration is extended by 4-5 seconds. When it collapses at the end, it releases a Void burst that damages enemies and applies Volatile. • Axiom Bolt: Enemies killed by seekers spawn 2 additional seekers. • Scatter Grenade: Creates additional submunitions on detonation. These persist for 8-10 seconds, spreading across the ground until they self-detonate or track to enemies. This brings Chaos Accelerant closer in line with the other grenade Aspects, while reinforcing Void’s themes of control, volatility, and overwhelming space control. It doesn’t make Warlocks overpowered, it just restores identity and usefulness to an Aspect that’s been forgotten for far too long.
