Bungie is there any way that you can possibly make the older raids soloable or easier mechanics. Before throwing hate or the "get gud" reply, let me explain. I know it can be easy sometimes to find groups in game for the raids, other times its not. Thats not really the issue though. The major issue is when joining a raid group, if its a encounter that I (and many others) dont know how to do, we get kicked or have 1 wipe and get kicked. Then you have the leader saying stuff like "learn the raid." Well, how are we supposed to learn it if no one is willing to teach? I'm sure people will say "Go watch a youtube video." Yes, that is an option, but there are many videos out there that do not do a good job explaining it. Also theres the fact that watching a video is not that same thing as actually doing the encounter and learning by doing. It's incredibly frustrating to have exotics and some really nice weapons locked behind raids and not finding any groups that either willing to teach or a group thats not going to kick you or rage quit themselves after one wipe. Not everyone has 24/7 to live and breathe destiny. Maybe you could give incentives somehow to those people that are willing to teach the raid encounters. Or maybe design raid encounters that its not going to end in a wipe if one or 2 people mess up. Surely there is a better way of doing this bungie. I have a collector type of personality. When I see a game that has all these exotics, I want to collect them all, even if I will never use them. So maybe have some of the older raid exotics drop in other content. Its just incredibly frustrating hearing the "go get experience then come back." It's just like a job that unwilling to hire you until you get experience. Well if no job is willing to hire someone without the experience then how in the heck are you supposed to get the experience. The current way that raids are set up, at least the older raids, is NOT new player friendly and if content is not new player friendly then your game will die.
