I wanted to create a clan in Destiny. I understand that it has its own requirements for creating a clan, but I'm convinced I've created them. That's why I logged into Bungie.net using my Steam account, as that's where I installed the game. I hadn't created a Bungie account before because I didn't need to. So, when I discovered that for some reason I couldn't create a clan (I don't know why, but it gave me an error), I wanted to unlink my Steam account from Bungie and delete the Bungie account I created, so I could go back to the way I had before. That is, playing Destiny without a Bungie account, only on Steam. However, it turns out that's not possible either. So, I'm at a point where I can't create a clan, can't unlink my account, and can't delete my Bungie account so I can play Destiny only through Steam. At this point, I don't even care about the clan anymore; I just want to unlink and undo the Bungie account I created, which is more useless to me than I thought. I regret creating them. If I had known that this creation and linking of accounts was irreversible, I would never have even considered creating a clan and creating an account on Bungie just for this. I demand that my Steam account be unlinked from my Bungie account, and that my Bungie account be deleted while retaining my Destiny data on Steam, just as I had it before. So I want to play Destiny 2 with my current characters and data, but I want this data to be only on Steam, as before.This is truly stupid, like saying, "Yes, yes... you can create an account and link it to other platforms, but we won't let you delete it, even if you did it by accident.". To make matters worse, as far as I know, Bungie doesn't have a support line you can write to, which only makes matters worse.
