NERFING SOLO OPS DROPS TO FORCE FIRETEAM OPS IS A ULTIMATE GAME KILLER
You guys created the system of leveling and didn't have the foresight to see that people play at different times of the day and at different intervals.
You put such a high bar on light level increases that it went from a 10 level increase to a 540 level increase
Nerfing Engrams for Solo Ops in Ash and Iron is a knee jerk reaction to force people into something that they can't do. Most Fireteams will not sit there and grind all day for light level. Solo players can play when no one is around.
You guys created this issue with the amount of light level needed and when people find a efficient way on a insane light level grind you make it even worse.
This has to be one of the worst twids and upcoming updates I have ever seen. It feels like you're trying to kill the game at this point.

I've been trying to do Fireteams this afternoon, evening and tonight and we're nowhere near it. The timer runs out, variously, just at the final boss and in some groups well before it. That last group we had two minutes on the timer just as we cleared that first blocked area in Empire Hunt - The Warrior. I've always played all three characters (I've never been what you'd call elite level player but I could solo GMs) and never been someone who just mains one class but today and tonight on Hunter in Fireteams and I feel -blam!- clueless about the character. I've been trying build after build, loadout after loadout and I can't get anything to click. It's like a different game. The restricted loadout (I'm not talking about Avant Garde but the cost in materials of raising the level of low level gear) is just -blam!- the game right up. I want to try something else, an armour piece or a different weapon loadout but if they're level 10, I can't even raise one item into the high 300s because it costs more materials than I have. I think this new setup suits people who only have one character and kicks everyone else squarely in the teeth. I simply cannot be -blam!- with this tonight.

Agree, something about a foot and shooting it comes to mind but I think Bungie would not even realise they had lost it, ah hubris!

Wtf do you actually want? Also before people start saying “buff instead of nerf” They DID. Primes will drop far far far more often with these changes. They just want you in other areas of the game (something that people have been begging for. Learn how to read people I’m BEGGING you)

We did this to ourselves. The laser focus to get top light level to play the exclusive content. Repeatedly playing the same thing over and over to get there as fast as possible. Bungie fueled this addiction locking more and more content to higher light levels. Over the years the path to higher light has steadily increased in time commitment. This is the result of taking things to an extreme. Trials was an opening salvo to what’s to come on contests for raids. Portal is another extreme on exclusive content. Never liked the e-sports style gameplay which this is becoming. Destiny is hard to quit. The less it focuses on fun and RPG and more it pushes the worst parts the less I will consider this worth my time.

Even their streamers, who go out of their way to overreact to the game most of the time, dislike these changes. The game feels like a really bad job at the moment.

That should be unnecessary do that for much nerfing. Also Solo in portal, that bungie nerfing this is easy enough make me so mad. Players even streamers asking for power change to fix like weeks or so. Now as today, bungie is start listening on this. I have wait on reset on announcement about power change. Are they going fix it or waiting more weeks that finally fix? I think it is too much grind after power level drops is kind chores to me. It affects my mental health. I am starting to focus other games that I don’t have to chores of those type of grinds.
