Sure it does it give all the streamers a second chance at gaining money form a second contest mode. Only real reason to do it is to give all their streamer buddies something to croon about and hype up. They know most of the player base is not running the raid, so they will not be running the new version and they can't have all the "work" wasted. Meanwhile the rest of us get nerfs in the portal and more recycled content. So yes they are making the game less fun and that moves the needle in the wrong direction.
