The message from the player base was clear: THE GRIND FROM 400-450 IS AWFUL. All you had to do was (greatly) increase the pinnacle drop rate. Instead, you announced that you will be making the grind worse and that grind will be repeated from 500-550. You can’t say you are listening and then do this. It’s inconceivable. Players are speed running solo ops because that’s the only efficient way to hit 450. They’re not enjoying the experience. They are skipping much of the content and they are not having fun. You see these fast times and decide to reduce the timers so that everyone will have to skip through your new content. Genius! Fixing Fireteam Ops would help reduce the dependency on Solo. Maybe I misunderstood, but do we need to do Ultimate level, with those crazy restrictions, to get from 500-550? If so, that will likely be the final straw for many players. As a disabled veteran who’s used the game therapeutically and enjoyed playing since the beginning, I am saddened by the idea that this is probably the end of my Destiny journey.
