Everybody has been doing solo ops because it was the only reasonable way to level up. And even at that the rewards were garbage it was only tolerable during solstice because of the bonus rewards and bonus quality. Nobody asked for anything to be nerfed and made harder to use for leveling or get even less rewards or reward quality at all. What we wanted is more rewards better quality and easier leveling. Why you feel it's necessary to reduce rewards because you think it'll help get people to do other options is the most tone deaf balancing you could possibly do. Just make the other stuff more rewarding and the people will do it regardless of limiting the stuff that was already there You know it might actually make it viable for people to want to do all of your content that would be amazing if it was all worth doing. And the ability to have to do prime drops for the last 50 light with it being random is so stupid. I don't care if it gives you the potential to grind your light faster it would have been better just having the weekly prime drops from different sources were you at least know that you do this and you get this and at least when we have that we didn't have to do 50 levels of it. Why you think we have to do 50 levels of prime engrams is unfathomably ridiculous it's not something that makes people want to play the game it's what makes people want to leave the game. I managed to level from 400 to 418 just trying to get a tier 5 gloves to drop from solstice before the event ended playing for an entire day doing solo ops because it was the only thing I could get done because if I tried to do matchmaking in fire team or anything else you're modifiers were so over the top that it was completely unfun to play and then when the timer would run out you'd go to zero lives and you couldn't complete it so why would I do that over solo ops. But through all that in managing to get prime drops every now and then with the benefits of solstice and zavala to get the 418 I did not feel accomplished I did not feel happy getting the 418 I felt like a broken man like I wanted to cry out of frustration it is mentally exhausting never had I felt so miserable playing destiny in my entire life as I have since reaching 400 light it felt more masochistic than D1 grinding I would have rather been farming helium on the moon to level my gear then what I had to go through for that crap. I haven't even been on since solstice ended because of how burnt out I was from that. And now you're coming in here telling me like oh yeah well we're going to make these other things a little better but then the other stuff that you were doing we're going to make it worse to force you into these other things and then if by chance when you do those other things if they're not fun or rewarding you'll be punished for going back to what you could do. Here at bunchie we don't like you to have fun playing this game we want you to feel like it's a career job and not one that you're succeeding and one where you're a wage slave being punished by abusive managers. Any little thing in the game that makes life better or more fun for the players You instantly fix or degrade everything we're screaming at you about fixing You drag your feet on like you have no care in the world for what your players want You just want to punish us. I sure as heck ain't looking forward to getting to guardian rank 10 after hearing what those new modifiers will be for ultimate the idea of having to get kicked the orbit If you die even once is basically making everyone playing the equivalent of doing solo grandmasters pre edge of Fate and then even if it is a fire team if somebody dies then it's on whoever's left in the fire team to have to carry everybody so why would they even bother having a fire team might as well be a solo ops modifier. And making lock loadout be less of a score modifier because you want people to have to play harder when it's already frustratingly grindy to get this stuff done in the first place why do I want to have to suffer grinding 20 operations to get a prime engram at 40 light down or some bull crap because you want to take off how much lock loadout does I would prefer to not have to use lock load out at all I shouldn't have to be punished so heavily to make score I shouldn't have to play everything against bullet sponges and getting one shot to be able to get any sort of decent reward I'm starting to feel like you want this game to get canceled You want Sony to shut it down You want to lose your entire player base because you are doing nothing to address any of the complaints or concerns that this expansion has had and you're just doubling down on what the players already hate. And why you think we would be excited about having a modifier that combines avant-garde into it when nobody wants avant-garde period nobody wants to be forced to only use a handful of exotics we'd all be using the legendaries anyways because the set bonuses are good The weapons are good but we don't want our exotics to be so limited especially when as prismatic you can't even use the class item which is the main thing prismatic classes build around because you refuse to put it on the featured exotics. And this artifact is all about solar and I can't use half of the exotics that I want to use with it like Dawn chorus because all it's not featured. I go on the hunter it's like oh I'm going to run a solar hunter Oh can't use most of the good hunter exotics can't be using celestial nighthawk while running a solar build because I haven't guard because not seasonal simply make exotics exempt from avant-garde You can make all the legendaries have to be seasonal just allow any exotic.
