You guys created the system of leveling and didn't have the foresight to see that people play at different times of the day and at different intervals.
You put such a high bar on light level increases that it went from a 10 level increase to a 540 level increase
Nerfing Engrams for Solo Ops in Ash and Iron is a knee jerk reaction to force people into something that they can't do. Most Fireteams will not sit there and grind all day for light level. Solo players can play when no one is around.
You guys created this issue with the amount of light level needed and when people find a efficient way on a insane light level grind you make it even worse.
This has to be one of the worst twids and upcoming updates I have ever seen. It feels like you're trying to kill the game at this point.

We did this to ourselves. The laser focus to get top light level to play the exclusive content. Repeatedly playing the same thing over and over to get there as fast as possible. Bungie fueled this addiction locking more and more content to higher light levels. Over the years the path to higher light has steadily increased in time commitment. This is the result of taking things to an extreme. Trials was an opening salvo to what’s to come on contests for raids. Portal is another extreme on exclusive content. Never liked the e-sports style gameplay which this is becoming. Destiny is hard to quit. The less it focuses on fun and RPG and more it pushes the worst parts the less I will consider this worth my time.
